25 Apr Supporting Boston Marathon Bombing Survivors 10 Years Later
Help Us Help Others.
A simple message that defines the power of The Greg Hill Foundation.
10 Years Ago, we had the honor of putting the foundation’s mission into motion as immediately following the bombings; we started to raise money for the victims’ families and survivors. In the weeks that followed, our lives truly changed. We visited survivors and their families in hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and parking lots; wherever we could to deliver donation checks. We learned of their injuries, their surgeries, their recoveries and their lives. We met their families, their friends and their closest supporters. Through this process and thanks to The Greg Hill Foundation, we were able to develop lifelong friendships and relationships. In the face of evil, love prevailed. We became Boston Strong and will always be thankful for the role we were able to play.
To commemorate the 10-year anniversary, we were challenged to put together a benefit concert supporting The Greg Hill Foundation and the Boston Marathon Survivors. Zac Brown Band headlined the event entitled 10 Years Stronger. We wanted “Boston Strong” to come to life and every aspect of it to be put on display. Greg said that the City of Boston promised 10 Years Ago to always be there for this community. The event honored the loved ones lost, remembered the survivors, and thanked the first responders, civilian heroes and medical professionals. The community stepped up once again, allowing the event to raise significant funds that will provide grants for the survivor community. 10 Years Later, we are 10 Years Stronger, and we have too many people to thank for helping us accomplish this.
